About Us

All of us are experienced HR and Recruitment Consultants and CIPD professionally qualified. Most of us became experienced as HR  Professionals and Recruiters in large and complex organisations and in the major recruitment and training consultancies, before seeking new challenges in an environment where the client comes first and adding value to your project is our primary aim.

IJA began in April 2007. Our first client was Heist Ltd, the research and education marketing business that is part of Euro-RSCG Riley Ltd, closely followed by a recruitment project for the National Children’s University and an Assessment Centre for Herefordshire College.

 

Until September 2008 our office was just behind Manchester Airport. Since then we have been based in the picturesque market town of Ruthin, in North Wales.

Our core business is senior recruitment : We will identify the most suitable potential candidates for your vacancy through original research and our contacts and networks from previous assignments. Following your brief, we search in the UK and Ireland, Europe, the USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand and across the world and bring your vacancy directly to them.

Our Approach

We are a specialist business and our philosophy is that searches for candidates should be carried out by the most appropriate and usually the senior members of our team, not delegated down the line to someone who wasn’t part of the initial briefing. Our expertise and our energy are put to work on your behalf and we cover the ground thoroughly to ensure that you get the best possible field of candidates to select from. Our phones are answered from 0800 to 1800 Monday to Friday UK time, but we work outside of UK office hours to speak to potential applicants in other time zones and we aim to return all calls on the same day or at the latest by the next working day.

Our preferred approach is to work in partnership with our clients, tailoring what we do to meet your own unique requirements, circumstances and resources. This usually means regular updates from the beginning of the project so that you are up to speed on progress and on feedback from the people we contact.
